FAQ

You’ll fit-in here just the way you are, but we realize your first time visiting a church can still feel a bit intimidating or a little overwhelming. Here are a few answers that shed light on questions that will help you to feel better prepared:

1. Where’s the front door and where do I park? Off the Chambers St. access, there is a gray, covered, four-door entrance. Parking is available in either the Chambers St. or 12th Street parking lots.

2. What should I wear? Dress comfortable and modest. You'll see folks in khakis or jeans, slacks or a skirt, each of which are appropriate.

3. How do I find places like the restrooms or nursing mother's room? Friendly greeters and signs will help direct you upon entering. Restrooms are right off the main lobby before the gym and a 2nd floor nursing mother's room is next to the balcony.

4. Can I sit anywhere? Absolutely! No one has “their own” seat. However, the balcony is reserved for those with vulnerable immune systems and olfactory allergies.

5. Am I expected to give in the offering? No, only if you want to, but it is certainly not expected.

6. How long will the service last? About an hour and a half. We conclude with questions from the congregation about the sermon and responses from the elders.

7. Is communion just for members, or for everyone? Anyone who believes Jesus is God, trusts Him as their Savior, and has been baptized or spoken to the elders about being baptized.

8. Why are we singing? To worship God. We sing old and new hymns, praises, and other spiritual songs.

9. What do you do with my contact information? We respect your privacy and will only contact you with your permission. You can opt into receiving occasional text messages from us.

10. How do I know about events? ChurchCenterApp (iOS or Android), Facebook, Events Page, or the Redeemer Weekly.
