Mercy Ministries

Mercy Ministries

The Mercy Ministries of Redeemer Fellowship are under the care of our deacon team. The deacons are specifically appointed with these responsibilities to free the elders to pursue the ministry of the Word of God and prayer. These ministries have been created to help meet certain needs within our church family and when appropriate, those outside of the household of faith.

Are you a member of Redeemer Fellowship and willing to assist the deacon team or regularly serve alongside? Tell us more about yourself and the ways the Lord has blessed you as a steward of His varied grace to serve.

Comfort Care

Comfort Care

Everyone experiences major life-altering events. The Comfort Care ministry of the deacons serve those with a need for benevolence as well as those experiencing various forms of bereavement (death of loved one, major trauma, crisis). Should a need like this arise, please contact your assigned deacon.

  • Deacon Fund benevolence needs of this nature happen seldom, meet an immediate need, and are temporary.
  • Bereavement needs require help with making funeral arrangements, handling grief, and making transitions.
Helping Hands

Helping Hands

A multi-generational church family will experience both the joys and trials that come in life. The Helping Hands ministry seeks to meet the various needs of individuals and families that require a little bit of extra help with the normal rhythm of life.

They facilitate assistance with smaller projects for widows, single women/moms, and connect with homebound church members as well as those with long-term health difficulties. In addition, they also provide meals when appropriate (new births, post-surgery, etc.) and various ways of short-term respite.

Willing Workers

Willing Workers

Much needs to happen for all things in our corporate gatherings to be done decently and in order. Willing Workers seek to show hospitality so that all may enjoy and treasure Jesus in corporate worship.

The Willing Workers assist with various aspects of the worship service, helping with church-wide activities and meals, building security, finances, as well as maintaining church property & grounds.
